It has long occurred to me that I should like to see some of my favourite needlepoint designs used in different ways, and so I decided to try some of them out as printed fabric.
The Little Birds was my first choice - the birds are so charming and friendly - what child would not welcome them for company perhaps especially at night with the dark background on a window blind.
The fabric I chose is cotton and as you can see it makes up beautifully as curtains, a quilt, either for a cot or bed or even a headboard.
The design is a generous 55 inch (140cm) wide on fabric measuring 62 inch (147cm). The repeat is 14inches (35.5cm).
The fabric is also available in a lighter shade of blue and nicely complements our Little Birds cushion kit.
