Description
Needlepoint kit for wall hanging or stool top
William Morris' lovely painting, now at the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow was, early in the 1900s, turned into a design for a delicate sofa. Beth Russell's needlepoint adaptation makes a superb cover for a wide piano stool, window seat, headboard or carpet runner. There is sufficient canvas around the design to allow the stitching of a 3" border. This can be ordered separately, and is worked from a simple chart with extra wools. The design measures 15 x 48in (38 x 122cm).
