    Description
Needlepoint kit for rug
Designed by William Morris' successor Henry Dearle in 1896 for Compton Hall in Wolverhampton it is one of our most successful designs. The rug is a fabulous Beth Russell interpretation of the Morris & Co wallpaper and fabric of the same name. To achieve the same soft dark background colour as the original Beth has blended 3 different colours. Still in production today, the fabric can be found at the beautiful Liberty store in London.
It also comes in a blue colourway.
