Needlepoint kit for cushion

In 1883 George Maw set up a factory at Ironbridge in Shropshire to produce a range of ceramic tiles including this beautiful design which was one of a collection that formed the back of a wash stand. Beth's interpretation is true to the original, but she has added a geometric border, which is stitched from a chart.
