Acanthus & Birds was so enjoyable to work on I could not wait to get back to it. There is such a wealth of detail to have fun with, it seems a shame not to make it available to a wider number of stitchers. I wanted to include those who might have found the size and complexity of the original hanging a little daunting.

Here we have the excitement of the mythical peacocks and the elegance of the sweeping acanthus leaves in a relatively small area. This little cushion makes rather a strong statement in any room.

We have included a chart to help make sense of the fine details in the exotic feathers.

The kit is also available with a light background.
