Description
Needlepoint kit for rug
William Morris produced a very pretty watercolour and ink sketch some time between 1880 and1896, which is now in the collection of the V & A Museum in London. Beth used this as her inspiration for the Pomegranate rug needlepoint kit. A picture of the original watercolour as well as the chart for the Pomegranate Rug may be found in Beth Russell's book Arts and Crafts Needlepoint.
