Needlepoint kit for wall hanging
Beth Russell's elegant needlepoint adaptation of William Morris' original tapestry necessarily shortens the tree and omits the border and poetry to make it a perfect size for a firescreen. This modern interpretation stays loyally with Morris' favoured gentle colours. His impressive original may be seen in the William Morris Gallery Walthamstow.
The Woodpecker also makes an excellent wall hanging and makes a great partner for the five designs in The Forest range which feature the same colours and style of foliage.
