Birth of a new design - part 4

The birds are complete but will undoubtedly need ‘tweaking’ at a later date. Next I must give them something to stand on.

Perhaps this is the time for a decision on a name for the design: Acanthus and Birds seems appropriate.

It has occurred to me that whereas I have shaded the acanthus leaves with two different sets of colours for the back and front of the leaves as I usually do, I have also introduced three extra shades. Now I have to decide if they are really necessary.
