New design - Acanthus & Birds

The new Acanthus & Birds kit is ready at last.

I have had great fun converting Morris’ intriguing drawing into needlepoint. As many of you who have been following my Design Diary know, it took me a great deal of time to reduce the number of colours, to make this design possible to print on canvas and still be a practical size.

I am delighted with the finished result and cannot decide if it looks better as a wall hanging, framed, a fire screen, or even inset onto a very large square floor cushion.
